Yoh players at the finish line
Every year, the Covered Bridges Half Marathon brings thousands of runners to Woodstock, Vermont — and every year, it takes an army of volunteers to make it happen. Dozens of local organizations show up to manage water stops, direct parking, hand out packets, and cheer runners across the finish line. The race raises over $75,000 for participating groups, but honestly, the spirit of the thing is just as impressive as the logistics.
On June 7, the Yoh Players were part of that tradition again.
Our students volunteered at the finish line, passing out refreshments to runners who had just completed 13.1 miles through some of Vermont's prettiest roads and hills.
For the Yoh Players, it's also become a tradition of their own. Showing up together, doing something useful, and spending time outside of rehearsals and performances. We're proud of these students for giving their time and representing the school well.
Thanks to the CBHM organizers and all the volunteers who make this race what it is, year after year.
